习近平总书记说:“把立德树人融入思想道德教育、文化知识教育、社会实践教育各环节，贯穿基础教育、职业教育、高等教育各领域，体现到学科体系、教学体系、教材体系、管理体系建设各方面，培根铸魂、启智润心。”博大精深的中华优秀传统文化是我们在世界文化激荡中站稳脚跟的根基。《英语课程标准》也要求学生：“能使用英语讲述中华文化基本知识，包括中华传统节日、中华优秀传统文化的表现形式及其内涵，主动传播和弘扬中华优秀传统文化”。
新乡市第二十二中学构建起“一本书，一堂课，一个基地，一项活动”新格局，全面推进思政一体化建设。为了充分发挥英语学科和课程思政协同育人的功能，把政治认同、国家意识、文化自信、人格养成等思想政治教育导向与英语课程固有的知识、技能传授有机融合，实现显性与隐性教育的有机结合，促进学生的自由全面发展，学校英语组以课程中的中国文化元素为基础，在七、八年级开展了“讲好中国故事，传播中国声音”的英语书法比赛和英语演讲比赛。
七年级的同学们的英语书法作品展拉开了本次活动的序幕。同学们用他们漂亮的英语书法作品诠释了对中国优秀文化的热爱。My Hero, My Hometown, The Spring Festival, I Love China，一张张手写稿，从中国的古今名人，中国的传统文化节日、中国的文化景点到自己的生活环境，通过“我手写我心”书法作品展示活动，引导学生关注身边的人和事，关注中国本土文化中的人文内涵，不仅通过写发展了学生的英语能力，也通过写增强了国家认同感、培养了良好的心理品质和思想道德品质。这些英语书法作品的规范书写不仅为七年级同学们的书写做了很好的示范，更为全校同学“用英语讲好中国故事，传播中国声音”开了个好头！
八年级的同学们围绕中国共产党百年华诞这个主题，回顾了中华民族从站起来、富起来到强起来的过程，饱含深情地歌颂伟大的祖国取得的成就。

In 2008, China successfully held the Beijing Olympic Games, and the total number of gold medals ranked first in the world. In 2008, China’s Shenzhou-7 successfully flew into space. 新乡市教育局教研室英语教研员周凤敏老师对本次活动做了点评，她对同学们和老师们在本次演讲比赛中的绝佳表现给与了充分的肯定和表扬。她鼓励同学们要学好英语，用好英语，讲好中国故事，传播好中国声音，坚定文化自信，努力让自己成为中国传统文化的传承者、弘扬者！她也鼓励老师们一定要不忘初心，牢记使命，在英语学科教学中不断探索英语学科与思政课程协同育人的新思路，大胆创新并实践，落实国家立德树人的培养目标，完成一个英语教师的育人使命。
这次活动的开展，不仅让同学们通过书写和演讲发展了英语能力，也丰富了学生们的学习生活，激发了他们爱党爱国的热情，对学生传承和创新中华优秀传统文化，树立正确的国家观、民族观、历史观、文化观都有着重要的意义。
